Gloria is microbiologist with over 15 years of experience in the agricultural and environmental fields. In 2001, she graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Microbiology. Since graduating she has owned and operated a Micro-Organic Laboratory (BBC laboratories 2005-2008). After selling her laboratory she worked with a major organic fertilizer producer as their microbiologist. 2017 Gloria joined IAS labs to head up the microbiology department.
Her main focus has been on soil microbiology and bacterial and fungal plant pathology.
Gloria’s career as a microbiologist began in the laboratory service industry, where her focus revolved around testing for microbial populations in soil and in agricultural biological products and amendments. She has worked closely with USDA-APHIS inspectors on international and domestic permit applications.
